Gosto de escrever, mas neste espaço onde partilho a minha criatividade e a de outros que me inspiram e com os quais aprendo, acabo por ser concisa e sem grandes divagações.
Nunca me preocupei em procurar um estilo de escrita específico para este blog, mas acho que, naturalmente, esse estilo acaba por existir, porque sou eu quem escreve aqui, procurando sempre que seja um espaço de partilha.

Gosto de visitar outros blogs e, através deles, conhecer outras cidades, outras culturas, outros modos de fazer, outros modos de decorar a sala, aquela receita diferente que vou querer experimentar, aquele livro que acabou de sair, aquele modelo de roupa que também eu poderei fazer...

Sei que muitos de vocês que vem até aqui, fazem-no porque gostam também destas coisas e assim, aquilo que pode ter sido a minha inspiração torna-se ideia para outros também e isto é bom (aprendemos todos uns com os outros).

Por isso, o post de hoje é para partilhar convosco, alguns recantos de Cascais (visita obrigatória para quem, de férias ou em passeio, passar por estes lados) e o convite à leitura deste post da Holly Becker (sobretudo para quem tem um blog).

I love writing but when I'm blogging I always end up with a more concise kind of speech.

I was never worried about my style in writing in this creative space but I think it exists because I'm the one who writes here and I always thought this space as a place for 'Sharing'.
I love sharing the good things that inspire me and also my accomplishments and I know this might influence others (we all learn with each others which is a good thing about blogging).
I love going to a blog and throught it, to have the chance to visit a new city, to know a new culture, to learn a new recipe, to find an original way to decorate a room, to find that new book...

And I know that lots of you come here because we have these kind of interests in common.

So, this post today is about sharing some views of Cascais (mandatory visit if you are nearby) and an invitation to read this post written by Holly Becker, specially if you have a blog.

Tenho o livro Wee Wonderfuls: 24 dolls to sew and love e sempre quis pegar nele e fazer bonecas para as minhas filhas. Mas a verdade é que ainda não o fiz... mas é desta! Este fim-de-semana, espero escolher a boneca, os tecidos e começar. Há um aniversário no próximo mês. Não me posso distrair. E tenho que perguntar a quem sabe, quanto tempo levará a fazer uma boneca...

I've at home the book Wee Wonderfuls: 24 dolls to sew and love and I've always wanted to make some dolls for my daughters. And I'm determined. There's a birthady next month, so I must start: I'll be choosing the doll and the fabrics during the weekend. I must ask to the experts how much time is necessary to sew a doll.

Os cachecóis, maiores ou mais pequenos são peças fundamentais em qualquer guarda-roupa. Eu não os dispenso, até no Verão, numa saída junto ao mar perto do entardecer.
Os tons pastéis do cachecol desta fotografia misturado com o tom forte do vestido chamaram-me à atenção. Dava-me jeito um cahecol assim :)


I love scarves. I think they are an essencial accessory in a woman wardrobe. I wear them all the year even in Summer, when I go out for a walk near the sea by the evening.
I love the colours of the scarf in the picture above. I would wear something like that one. What about you?

{Weekend} suggestion: picnics

Uma das memórias que guardo da infância são os piqueniques em família: piqueniques a preceito, uma dia passado no meio da Natureza, perto de um riacho no meio de uma serra ou num frondoso pinhal com cheiro a mar.
A toalha aos quadrados, as cadeiras de piquenique, as mantas de trapos estendidas no chão.
Tenho vontade de voltar a fazer piqueniques assim e poder proporcionar aos meus filhos doces memórias como as que guardo.

As imagens seguintes estão guardadas no meu Pinterest.
Um styling irrepreensível e que faz de um piquenique um acontecimento ainda mais especial (porque para mim um piquenique é muito mais do que boa comida).

One of my childhood memories are family picnics: one day spent in the middle of woods or by the sea.

These were the real picnics: the gingham towel, the picnic chairs, the typical handmade blankets on the ground.
I want to go back to picnics like these and to provide my children sweet memories as I keep.

A fabulous styling that makes a picnic an event even more special (because for me, a picnic is much more than good food).
